Verta Technologies LLC respects your privacy and is committed to protecting personal information.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use our
Services.


This Privacy Policy applies to all users of the Services, including business account owners,
authorized users, and end customers whose information may be processed through an account.


If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, do not use the Services.


1. WHO USES THE SERVICES


The Services are designed primarily for business use. Businesses that register an account (“Account
Owners”) may invite employees or contractors (“Authorized Users”) and may enter information about
their own customers (“End Users”).


Account Owners control the data they enter into the Services. If you are an End User, your
information is processed on behalf of the Account Owner and subject to that Account Owner’s own
privacy practices.


2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT


We collect information in the following categories, as required by Apple App Store and Google Play
policies.


A. Information You Provide Directly

We collect information you provide when you create or use an account, including:


• Name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Login credentials (passwords are stored only in hashed form)
• Business or organization details such as company name, address, preferences, and settings
• Communications with customer support


B. Customer and Operational Data Entered by Account Owners
Account Owners and Authorized Users may enter data into the Services, including:
• Client or lead contact information
• Addresses and job locations
• Scheduling and job details
• Quotes, invoices, and payment status
• Internal notes and records
• Messages sent through the Services (email or SMS content and delivery status)
This data is processed on behalf of the Account Owner.


C. Location Data (Optional)
If location access is enabled, the mobile app may collect precise location data (latitude and longitude)
to support operational features such as team location visibility or routing.
Location data collection:
• Occurs only with user permission
• Can be disabled at any time via device or app settings
• May limit certain features if disabled


D. Push Notifications (Optional)
If enabled, we collect technical identifiers required to deliver push notifications. Notifications can be
disabled at any time through device or browser settings.


E. Payment and Billing Information
We collect limited billing-related information such as subscription status and transaction identifiers.
We do not store full credit card numbers. Payment information is collected and processed directly by
third-party payment processors and is subject to their privacy policies.
F. Automatically Collected Information


We automatically collect certain technical information, including:
• IP address
• Device and browser information
• App usage logs and diagnostics
• Security and error logs
• Cookie and similar technology data


3. HOW WE USE INFORMATION


We use information for the following purposes, consistent with App Store and Google Play
disclosures:

• To provide and operate the Services
• To authenticate users and secure accounts
• To enable app functionality such as scheduling, invoicing, routing, and notifications
• To send service-related communications (verification codes, security alerts, operational messages)
• To process subscriptions and payments
• To monitor performance, detect errors, and improve reliability
• To prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents

We do not use personal data for advertising purposes and do not sell personal information.


4. DATA SHARING AND DISCLOSURE


A. With Account Owners
If you are an Authorized User or End User, information associated with an account may be accessible
to the Account Owner and other authorized users according to permissions set by the Account
Owner.


B. With Service Providers
We use third-party service providers to operate the Services, including providers for:
• Cloud hosting and infrastructure
• Data storage and backups
• Email and SMS delivery
• Payment processing
• Mapping, routing, or geolocation services
• Push notification delivery
• Error monitoring and diagnostics
These providers process data only on our behalf, under contractual obligations to protect it, and only
as necessary to provide their services.
We do not permit service providers to use data for their own advertising purposes.


C. Legal and Business Disclosures
We may disclose information if required to:
• Comply with applicable law or legal process
• Respond to lawful requests from authorities
• Protect the rights, safety, or property of users, customers, or Verta

We do not use cookies for third-party advertising tracking.

security, and operational requirements.


Examples include:
• Authentication and verification data that automatically expires
• Business records such as jobs, quotes, and invoices retained for customer operations
• Location data retained only when enabled and as needed for operational purposes
Account Owners may delete certain data through the Services. Requests for deletion assistance may
be submitted to us.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal
information, including:
• Encrypted data transmission
• Password hashing
• Access controls and logging
• Restricted internal access
No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.


8. YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

• Correct inaccurate information
• Request deletion
• Object to or restrict certain processing

If you are an End User, we may direct your request to the applicable Account Owner who controls the
data.


You may also control:
• Location access via device or app settings
• Push notifications via device or browser settings


9. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
Your information may be processed or stored in countries outside your country of residence. By using
the Services, you consent to such transfers in accordance with applicable law.


10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted with a revised effective
date. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
